During the visit, the implementation of project activities and the collaboration among consortium members were evaluated in the context of achieving the project's goals. Participants in the monitoring visit included representatives from various Georgian partner institutions: the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs, Batumi Navigation Teaching University, Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University, Batumi State Maritime Academy, Georgian Technical University, Vengo Group, Wine Company Shumi, INTERLOGGEORGIA, Wilhelmsen Ships Service Georgia, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, and the National Forestry Agency.
DUGEOR is a Category 3 Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project, aimed at supporting Georgia—a third country not fully participating in the Erasmus program—in meeting socio-economic needs through the implementation of dual education within the higher education system. This project aims to ensure structural improvements and innovations in the higher education sector.
